We're the Astill family and welcome to Quebec Farm, where we have farmed in the village of Sileby, Leicestershire for over a century now.

 

We are what you'd call a 'mixed farm', meaning that we don't just grow one thing! We grow a range of crops such as wheat, barley, oats, field beans, and maize, alongside looking after a Lleyn and Texel flock with an increasing proportion of wool shedding Exlana breeds.

 

This year, we've taken an exciting step towards putting events on at the farm, with P.Y.O sunflower field having opened this summer, offering funded school visits and lambing live in the works for 2027. It's fair to say that we have had an exciting year, with another one ahead of us.
